General protection against particulates and toxic gases. A full-face mask must be used when the toxic concentration does not permit the use of a half mask. A full-face mask must be used with class 2 or 3 certified filters or connected to a compressed air network.
COSMO mask is certified against EN136:1998 standard
The Nominal Protection factors and Assigned Protection Factors are :
COSMO + P3 : NPF = 1000 - APF = 40
COSMO + gas : NPF = 2000 - APF = 20
COSMO + combined : NPF = 1000 - APF = 20

They can only be used in sufficiently ventilated premises where the atmosphere contains a minimum oxygen volume of 17%.
