ZEPHYR assisted ventilation devices with hoods or visors are devices conforming to the EN12941:1998 standard.
The protection category and the type of application for these headpieces depend on the respiratory equipment to which they are connected.
A motor draws in ambient air through filters and blows it into the head protector through a corrugated tube.
Assisting ventilation reduces the breathing effort required and contributes to reducing fatigue resulting from using a filtering respiratory protection device.
The overpressure generated in the hood by the assisted ventilation guarantees a high protection factor.

The motorised fan is attached to the waist with an adjustable fire-proof snap-on belt buckle.
